Refrigerants and family planning

Management of refrigerants and family planning were listed among the top five solutions to global warming in Paul Hawken's book Drawdown. However, I don't see them mentioned in the Enroads program.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Good questions, Paul! I find many people have some familiarity with Drawdown, really good to be able to relate it to En-ROADS, I'll post some thoughts on Drawdown talking points in a separate thread.

Specifically:

  • Refrigerants are part of "Methane and Other" - specifically, in the advanced view, in the Energy and Industry slider as f-gases
  • You can use the Population lever to model effects of family planning.
